Sanding, Sanding, Sanding

These airy and light pieces of titanium were colored using a very hot flame. Titanium is a very difficult metal to work with, not solely because it’s extremly hard but because it needs lots of sanding and often, you end up with tons of broken saw blades. In the end, if everything goes right, the final stunning result makes up for all the hardship – it’s a love/hate relationship :)

Efrat Elie’s prints are amazingly awesome. They have such a unique and playful nature to them – simply stunning.  As the artist has stated:”My goal is to make you, your loved ones & your colleagues smile every time you see one of my works on the walls around you.” Find them at his etsy store.

I so much like it when it is foggy! Somewhere in Northern Greece from the time I was still at uni. And a glimpse from my studio bench-something rather exciting is on the works ;)

Have been working on that teapot on my spare time. Haven’t decided weather to turn it into a necklace or leave it as decorative miniature teapot.

Love the prints of Emma Leonard, a Melbourne based illustrator. You can buy her prints from her etsy shop. *and Tender To The Blues – titles of the prints.

“Emma Leonard usually draws girls. Especially ones with melancholy expressions and sad eyes. Sometimes they feel so shy they just have to hide their faces altogether. Every now and then, if you say something that really pleases them, they just might give you the hint of a smile. However, that is very rare.”
